Knick-knacks galore. I once found a badass chair there.

Smith’s Point Beach, Shirley
A beach you can drive to! About fifteen minutes away from Bellport. Often not very crowded.
1 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley, NY 11967
Mother’s Beach, Bellport
A small bay beach you can walk or drive to with a playground. Good for picnics. I wouldn’t recommend swimming.
Located near the end of South Howell’s Point Rd.
Ho Hum Beach, Fire Island
Bellport’s private beach. The ferry—good old Whalehouse Point, makes trips over several times a day. Technically, only residents can purchase ferry tickets, so if you’re staying with a resident, go for it! If not, drive over to Smith Point Beach. It’s essentially the same beach.
Carman’s River Kayaking
Kayaking the wetlands. Beware of vicious swans.
2979 Montauk Highway, Brookhaven, NY 11719
The Gateway Playhouse
A cute local theater with musicals and that type of thing.
215 S Country Rd, Bellport, NY 11713
Monday Night Boat Racing at Bellport Marina
The races are fun to watch for sailors and the evening is a great time to go crabbing off the marina dock.
Located at the end of Bellport Lane where it meets the water.
Blue Point Brewery
Damn good beer about 15 mins outside of Bellport in Patchogue. Take your dog!

The world’s most down to earth, non-snooty vineyard, adorably chill, located in Patchogue
